Fabolous – “The Plug” Music Video

Fabolous drops visuals for The Plug from his recent project “Summertime Shootout”. The Brooklyn emcee hopped on a flight for his birthday and headed to Medellin, Colombia. While in town he shot this very Pablo Escobar inspired video and we are not mad at it. Channeling his inner “Fablo Freshscobar” he spits “First we count up the blessin’s // Then we count up the bread // I can count on the squad // I can count ’em like one, two, three // Everything gotta run through me // You know Jefe the one to see”

Along with Mr. Gaviria he also reference’s Griselda Blanco, OJ Simpson, Nate DoggBrian Gumble (yes Brian Gumbel) and of course shows respect to DJ Clue (Ernesto Shaw) for getting him in the game. “I blame Ernesto, it’s your fault Ernesto // Took me to the west coast, linked me with Nate Dogg”

The track was produced by longtime collaborator Sonaro who also produced three more records on the project (“For The Summer”, “Motivation”, and “Vanilla” featuring Rich Homie Quan. The video which was released exclusively via WSHH was directed by Gerard Victor and shot in Colombia.
