Inside the Palazzo Versace Hotel Dubai

The Versace fashion house has once again out done themselves. Going above and beyond to redefine luxury they have now opened – Palazzo Versace in Dubai. Nestled in the heart of the action (8 minutes from the Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai) the hotel sits on the edge of the Dubai creek providing breath taking views in all directions.

Already being mentioned as “The most luxurious hotel in the Middle East.”, the hotel boasts many amenities and features. For the supreme ballers’ the hotel offers residencies in both one, two and three bedroom options. The latter coming in at a whopping 2900 sq. ft. of total space. It is also rumored to have four, five and six bedroom options but we can not confirm at this time. There are currently 169 condominiums available.

For the “regular” hotel guests, the Palazzo Versace features 215 rooms all containing furniture designed by Donatella Versace herself. Rooms are filled with exclusive pieces adorned with signature Versace icons such as the Medusa head and the Greek key. The ceilings are said to be lined with gold trim with marble accents through-out. The rooms are split into two categories: Deluxe and Premiere and the suites are separated into five categories (Executive, Grand Executive, Grand, Signature and Imperial.

Back in 2006 there were rumors of an artificial temperature controlled beach being installed at this location, unfortunately that is something that didn’t make it into the final design. Hungry? Have a seat in one of eight restaurants located on the grounds including Giardino (all-day dining), Vanitas (seafood), Enigma (“avant-garde”), Mosaico (located in the lobby), La Vita (bar), Gazebo (shiva lounge), Amalfi (the pool bar) and Q’s bar. Q’s bar is very interesting as it is named after (and maybe designed or inspired by) legendary music producer Quincy Jones (Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra).

There are also three outdoor pools and a spa on-site. Here on business? There are five meetings rooms seating anywhere from 16 to 50 people. An additional boardroom which seats 12 and the grand Gala Ballroom which can hold 600 people and has a separate entrance. The Palazzo Versace also features three Versace boutiques, executive lounge, health club, male and female salon’s and a prayer room.

This is Dubai’s first Palazzo Versace and the world’s second (the first is in Australia). We are scared to price a one night stay at the hotel but you can be sure it will a hefty price tag but the experience is sure to be priceless and memorable.
